This may include your name, email address, profile image, home airport, available dates, RSVP status, room-sharing preferences, trip destinations, transportation choices, notes, and saved itinerary snapshots.
How We Use Information
We use this information to operate the app, generate and display shared trip pages, personalize quotes and itinerary views, save traveler decisions, support room-sharing coordination, improve the product, and maintain the security and reliability of the service.
Sharing
Trip information may be visible to organizers and other people who have access to the trip link or who are members of the trip. We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us run authentication, hosting, databases, analytics, quoting, and related app infrastructure.
Third-Party Services
Waypoint may use third-party services for sign-in, hosting, database storage, flight quotes, lodging quotes, cost-of-living estimates, maps, and analytics. Those services may process information according to their own policies.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain trip records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Organizers may delete or update trip content as product features allow.
Your Choices
You can update your RSVP, availability, airport, and room-sharing preferences inside the app. You may also sign out at any time. For account or data requests, contact the app operator.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No online service is perfectly secure, so you should avoid adding highly sensitive information to trip notes or itinerary fields.
