Terms of Service
These generic terms describe the rules for using Waypoint to plan, share, price, and approve group trip itineraries.
Last updated: May 17, 2026
Using Waypoint
Waypoint helps organizers create trip proposals and helps travelers personalize itinerary estimates. You are responsible for the information you enter, the links you share, and the decisions you make based on the app's planning outputs.
Accounts
Some features require sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for activity associated with it. You agree to provide accurate information when creating trips, saving RSVPs, and approving itinerary snapshots.
Trip Content
Organizers and travelers may add destinations, dates, transportation details, notes, points of interest, lodging preferences, and other trip content. You should not add unlawful, misleading, confidential, or harmful content. Trip links may be visible to others who receive access.
Quotes and Estimates
Flight, lodging, cost-of-living, and itinerary totals are rough planning estimates. They are not booking confirmations, price guarantees, travel advice, legal advice, immigration advice, or financial advice. Always verify prices, visa rules, passport requirements, safety conditions, and booking terms directly with official or booking providers before making commitments.
Third-Party Services
The app may link to or use third-party services for authentication, hosting, databases, flights, lodging, maps, cost estimates, and analytics. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, policies, pricing, or booking outcomes.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or overload systems, upload malicious content, or use the app in a way that violates laws or the rights of others.
Disclaimers
Waypoint is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Waypoint and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for losses related to travel bookings, cancellations, missed connections, quote changes, or third-party services.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
